Ellen Harvey, Michael Wilson, Becky Beasley, Anselm Berrigan, Daniel Jewesbury, Scott Zieher, Jonathan Raymond, Elizabeth Schambelan, Kate Scrivener, Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard.

 

Michael Wilson is also curating an exhibition titled "Rub Out the Word" at d.u.m.b.o. arts center (dac), 30 Washington Street, Brooklyn, USA T: 718 694 0831, opening on October 14th, 2005 and running until November 13th. "Buttons UP NY" with be launched at the opening reception on Friday, October 14th, 6 - 9pm, and will spread to various, as yet undetermined locations in the days that follow..

Michael Wilson

Artist, Curator and Critic

 

Ellen Harvey is an artist based in New York. A book about her public artwork "The New York Beautification Project" (1999-2001) was published by Gregory R. Miller and Company in July 2005.

 

Becky Beasley is a London-based artist working with photography. She also edits the small press Grey Area Books.

 

Anselm Berrigan is the author of two books of poetry, "Zero Star Hotel" and "Integrity & Dramatic Life," both published by Edge Books. He grew up and lives in New York City, where he currently works as the Artistic Director of the Poetry Project at St. Mark's Church-in-the-Bowery.

 

Artist and writer Dr Daniel Jewesbury is a Reseach Associate at the University of Ulster and the author of "of lives between lines" (Bookworks, 2001) and (with Ursula Burke) "Archive:Lisburn Road." (Belfast Exposed, 2004).

 

Scott Zieher is a poet and the co-owner of ZieherSmith gallery, New York. He is the author of "Virga" (Emergency Press,New York, 2005)

 

Jonathan Raymond is a writer, and the author of a novel, "The Half-Life" (Bloomsbury USA, May 2004)

 

Elizabeth Schambelan is Editor of artforum.com

 

Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard are London-based artists who have worked collaboratively since Christmas Eve 1994.

 

Kate Scrivener is a London-based artist whose work references environmental observations that relay the effects of events within the landscape. These phenomena have potential that is outside of our control, and involve the extraordinary, the extreme, and the seemingly unaccountable.
