Michael Wilson is an Associate Editor at, and regular critic for, Artforum magazine. He has also written on contemporary art for other journals including Frieze, Art Monthly, Untitled, Modern Painters, The Wire and Blueprint, and contributed to exhibition catalogues published by, among others, The Photographers Gallery, Lisson Gallery, Matthew Marks Gallery, Art In General, The MIT List Visual Arts Center and The Venice Biennale.
He is also an occasional independent curator, his most recent exhibition being 'There is a light that never goes out' (concerning the spiritual in art) at d.u.m.b.o. arts center (dac) in Brooklyn, New York and an artist.
