NADFLY + BAXENDALE creates a temporary shop with other fellow artists, musicians, architects, writers, filmmakers, silversmiths, designers and ceramicists. They have created 100 gifts for the Holidays, made from objects or concepts that have been used before. This is the first shop in Glasgow looking for unwanted items as source materials for gifts. The public can purchase these artistic gifts for £5 up to £50, making it affordable for everyone.
NADFLY + BAXENDALE & FRIENDS SHOP is breathing new life into redundant items as opposed to making things from scratch.
The shop is located under the stairs in the Trongate 103 main foyer. The shop was design & built by BAXENDALE. It will be a tangible structure made from old wooden pallets demonstrating the potential for recycled and transformed materials to be used in such a context.

NADFLY enjoys collaborating with curators, artists, musicians, architects,
writers, filmmakers, silversmiths, designers and ceramicists. Together
we can create new areas where people are able to challenge their
notions of art as well as their everyday realities. Over the years
NADFLY has been actively involved in a wide variety of public art
& design projects in places such as Inverness, Dunfermline,
Glasgow, West Bromwich, Lidköping, Los Angeles, New York, Karachi,
Nuremberg, Hamburg, Dublin, Havana and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
