NESTA FELLOWSHIP 2002 - 2005
(The National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts)
'A project called Total Investigation to produce new work through a radical shift in working practice. This will include a break from front line activity to undertake an intense period of research. Previous work will be reviewed through cataloguing past projects and commissioning essays to explore current practice. This will include travel to engage public art practitioners in investigating the meanings of location and transience in public art. This reflection and research will underpin the development of future work. To further the debate the project will also include study of the distribution and dissemination of the processes of making public art. ' NAD
