Profile
Roy is a designer, maker and musician. Working from the Southside
Studios in Glasgow, he likes to explore reclaimed materials, repurpose
objects and tinker with technology. Roy is particularly interested in
open sourcing as a means of collaborative and appropriate design.
Similarly, it is the social aspects of creating music that really
excite him, something which is evident in his performances and
recordings with dBass, Inspector Tapehead and Adam Beattie and the
Consultants. Roy plays drums, tabla and percussion.
